CD Makes a Case for... A Camp.

I have a confession to make. I'm a big Cardigans fan. That's right the band that released "Love Fool". I think they are underrated. Their last two albums Long Gone Before Daylight and Super Extra Gravity were great, and Long Gone Before Daylight is in my top 10 favorite albums of all time. Seriously. It doesn't hurt that they have one of the sexiest lead singers in music, I have a weakness for blonde haired, blued eyed Swede's with cute dimples. Oh and she just also happens to have one of rock's best voices. It sounds so sweet and innocent, but underneath there's a hint of darkness.

A Camp has been billed as Nina Persson's solo side project. However, it's now being billed as a three piece. Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse fame is a member and produced the self-titled debut, which was released in the states in 2004. This April their follow-up Colonia will hit shelves(or whatever albums hit these days). Here's the video from Colonia's first single "Stronger Than Jesus", which at first I thought was about me since I've been working out lately.

And off the self-titled album, a kick ass cover of Restless Heart's "Bluest Eyes in Texas", that someone apparently thought was the appropriate soundtrack to their watercolor.
